The Clinical Manager will report directly to Senior Manager of Community Programs provide support to the counselling staff and frontline staff providing case management for 360kids’ clients and their families. The Clinical Manager will provide staff with tools, resources and strategies. When gaps or areas of need arise, the Clinical Manager will develop new resources and training to address these areas. Providing clinical direction to staff members through one-on-one conversations and attending case conferences the Clinical Manager will address the mental health needs of 360kids’ clients and their families. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic, innovative and collaborative plan to identify and engage critical community partners to support the Mental Health needs of 360kids clients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide general and clinical supervision to the counselling team and case managers who support to 360kids’ clients and their families. Overseeing the case management and clinical programs.
- Give direction of a diverse staff team in terms of operations & programs, in accordance with the approved Strategic Plan of 360kids
- Oversee the design of clinical systems to help continue developing the innovative model that 360kids delivers to clients and their families.
- Assess the needs of youth and their family and provides agency-based service as required.
- Elevate knowledge and capacity of the counselling team to support clients who have experienced significant trauma, particularly survivors of Human Trafficking.
- Develop and deliver training to all 360kids staff on key issues pertaining to mental health, building capacity within the organization to better serve youth and their families.
- Assists staff in creating youth action plans, in consultation with all family members ensuring active participation in decision making; and the inclusion of other relevant parties, which will be reviewed during the intervention period and review progress towards achieving these plans
- Work together with staff, youth and families to improve community connections and access to community resources and connect youth and family members with other agencies in the community including other 360kids’ programs.
- Responds to and investigates enquiries, complaints and emergency situations involving youth assesses the situation, implements short-term and long-term solutions, and documents outcomes.
- Resolves conflict situations including client complaints and disputes. Listens, mediates, negotiates and provides support and guidance to resolve issues and documents outcome.
- Delivers group presentations and education or information tables on 360°kids’ services or on special interest topics to youth, school professionals, community groups or agencies towards youth and community engagement.
- Facilitates community collaboration with key partners and/or builds capacity for partnerships with populations such as LGBTTQ, mental health, addictions, human trafficking, diversity councils, faith-based assemblies, education bodies, justice panels, police, and community committees.
- Connect with the staff from other programs and community agencies (e.g., hospitals, social workers, doctors, courts, immigration, shelters, drop-ins, health clinics, legal programs) to provide program information or in advocating for transfers/placements of clients.
- Report on a regular basis to Senior Manager of Community Programs regarding issues of need and/or concern. In the event of a crisis or critical incident, immediately reports to appropriate level.
- Responsible for regular Clinical supervision meetings and performance appraisals. Attends training workshops and relevant conferences that pertain to the role. Other duties as required.

**Education and skills required**:

- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clinical training and experience in individual and family assessment and treatment. Minimum 5 years’ experience working with at risk and/or street involved people. Current first aid/CPR certification, current vulnerable sector screening (criminal background check), car and valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience with MS Office, with the ability to prepare, and write reports and maintain same. Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- Thorough knowledge of community resources, supports and interventions available for youth and families.
- Understanding of issues related to youth homelessness, human trafficking, marginalized communities and LGBTQ+ individuals and the barriers they face.
- Well-developed administrative and organizational skills and Experience working from an anti-oppression and trauma informed framework.
