Company Overview

Murray Murray Parking Control Services (MMPCS) was established in 1995 as one of the first parking enforcement companies in Ottawa. MMPCS services commercial and residential buildings.

Position title: Parking Enforcement Officer

A parking enforcement officer is responsible for monitoring parking facilities, issuing warning tickets/citations, and responding to customer inquiries.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

- Patrol assigned areas by foot or car to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles.
- Issue tickets or citations for expired meters, improper parking such as: in crosswalks or other sidewalks, and related violations
- Record and enter data collected for citations/violations including time, date, location of infraction and vehicle information.
- Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns, relay information to management.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Accredited by Ottawa By-law.
- One of two years of experience in parking related field is preferred.
- Proficient with computers and computerized ticket system.
- Must be willing to work overnight and weekends.
- Varied rotating schedule.
