**SUPERVISOR - SALES ADMINISTRATION**

**About the role**

The Supervisor - Sales Administration role is responsible for supervising the Order Entry team, Non-Steel Sales administrative activities, entering sales orders into Stelco’s ERP system, and coordinating the entry of sales orders within the Sales department. In this role the individual will be exposed to various aspects of Stelco’s overall business and will be provided a well-rounded basic knowledge of the order-to-cash process from beginning to end through interaction with Non-Steel and Steel customers and multiple function groups within the organization.

**Your day-to-day**:

- Supervising the Order Entry team and their day-to-day activities
- Coordinating order entry activities within the Sales department
- Creating and improving business processes for Order Entry and Non-Steel Sales administrative activities
- Accurately entering orders into Stelco’s ERP system, including managing order changes and revisions
- Checking all documentation to confirm order is entered correctly and per the customer specifications
- Working closely with Sales staff, production facilities, and technical personnel to ensure accuracy of orders, availability of product, and timely processing
- Providing regular order status updates to customers
- Managing daily Non-Steel Sales shipments and inventory levels to meet customer supply requirements and satisfy company objectives
- Communicating daily with customers, producing facilities, and technical personnel on various issues including order entry, production, and shipments

**What you bring to the table**

**Job Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field
- 3 to 5 years of related experience within Sales / Customer Service or Marketing
- Related experience in the steel, metals, or closely related industry preferred

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead a team and obtain desired results
- Organizational, analytical, and time management skills
