**Job Overview**:
Responsible to unpack, inspect, repair and store general construction equipment. Assist in warehouse with material handling, loading, and unloading trucks using various material handling equipment. Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies and practices.

**Duties Include**:
**1. Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving**
- Load and unload all shipments, this includes LTL & FL shipments as well as courier and small parcel deliveries.
- Ensure inventoried materials and/or equipment is returned to inventory storage areas once serviceability has been verified and/or repairs have been completed.
- Determine the best method to package material /equipment to assure no damage is incurred during transport.
- Identify material/equipment to be packaged and shipped; perform packing and loading of equipment.

**2. Health & Safety**
- Ensure that all required P.P.E. are worn in accordance with company policy.
- Perform general housekeeping as required to ensure that warehouse floors are kept clean and free from hazards at all time; empty waste bins.
- Maintain clear access to fire exits, road ways, and loading docks at all times.

**3. Inventory**
- Accurately track repair parts used on work orders

**4. Equipment Maintenance**
- Perform general maintenance on equipment as per the training matrix.
- Ensure that maintained equipment is in a usable condition that meets or exceeds the manufacturer recommendations.

**5. Other duties as required by the company**

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES**:

- Basic knowledge of tool use, maintenance and repair.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Trained in and/or licensed to operate handling equipment an advantage.
- Experience with packaging and transportation of equipment to ensure material and/or equipment is shipped quickly, safely and correctly.
- 3-5 years of practical hands on warehouse, inventory control experience preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
