**Job description**
- Bakers/ Mixers: Food Manufacturing_
**TWI Foods Inc., an established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, motivated, and energetic individual to join our Production Team.**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Scale all ingredients according to recipes.
- Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence.
- Operate flour silo to add correct quantities to correct bowl.
- Operate water meter, monitoring amount and temperature.
- Add ingredients to ensure the quality expectations are being met, considering the variables such as ingredients, temperature, etc
- Operate the mixers by setting up the required mixing time /RPM speed.
- To take after mixing temperature of dough/batter to minimize the variation.
- To perform a visual inspection and to examine the batch for any variance.
- Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use.
- Comply with all applicable legislative and TWI foods food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2-3 years experience as a mixer, preferably in bakery environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift 25kg and roll on the heavy mixing bowls.
- Ability and skill to quickly acquire knowledge of our mixing process and products.
- Strong communication and math skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules; mornings (7am - 3pm), afternoons (3pm - 11pm) and Nights (11pm - 7am).
- Must legally be able to work in Canada.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**:

- Be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Follows direction well.
- Be able to work in a standing position for entire shift.
- Multi-tasking & attention to details.
- Demonstrate teamwork and good communication.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 2 years (preferred)
- Mixing: 1 year (preferred)
