Overview:
The Canadian College of Trades and Technology (“CCTT”) is a private career college in Fort Erie / Niagara Region and it has entered into a Public College-Private Partnership with Sheridan College. CCTT will deliver Sheridan curriculum in various programs in the skilled trades, business, allied healthcare, and community studies to international students who will receive a Sheridan-issued credential upon graduation and be eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit.

The Registrar will be a member of the Sheridan at CCTT leadership team. They will play a key role in leading the registrarial function at CCTT; ensuring delivery of the partnership; championing excellent student experience; advancing CCTT and Sheridan’s objectives within the partnership; and fostering an institutional culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

**Job Description**:
Role and Responsibilities
- Leading and empowering the Office of the Registrar team and executing registrarial functions.
- Liaise closely and build a trusting relationship with the Office of the Registrar at Sheridan College regularly. This will be to share data as necessary, solicit feedback, ensure a smooth student experience, and facilitate Sheridan’s audit requests.
- Organizing and administering the record keeping, registration, fee collection, grade uploading, progression, and graduation functions in the Office of the Registrar.
- Maintaining timely and accurate information in the student information system to support registration and record keeping requirements.
- Monitors compliance with policies and recommends revisions as necessary to ensure effective and efficient operations, including for compliance with Ministry reporting and recordkeeping requirements or any Sheridan oversight requirements.
- Responsible for data collection, reporting and analysis of enrollment and admissions data.
- Ensuring student grades are entered in accurately to ensure accurate progression, suspension, and graduation.
- Initiates and manages the retention, transfer, or disposal of student records and office records in accordance with records and disposal requirements.
- Ensuring data integrity and security for all student information systems, quality of the data, and acting in a manner consistent with best practices and college standards.

Develop and maintain professional networks in provincial and national organization related to registrarial services.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in a related discipline
- Strong oral, written, and analytical skills
- Minimum of 7-years of related experience
- Knowledge of Student Information Systems and related software.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in the public post-secondary sector or the private career college sector

Additional language skills would be considered an asset

Additional Notes

This position reports to the President of CCTT.

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
