HAYDEN Diamond Bit Industries Ltd. specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of diamond coring bits and other diamond products for the world’s mining and exploration industry. We are seeking for a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist in Richmond, BC for graveyard shift; 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM

**Duties & **Responsibilities Include**:

- Write and interpret instructions and procedures to assemble equipment and products accurately.
- Read and understand blueprint designs and set up machinery for production.
- Performing inspections of equipment, structures, materials and products.
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work-piece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
- Analyze information and finding the best solutions to problems.
- Keeping the work environment safe.
- Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.

**Requirements:
- Post-secondary training in machining or CNC Machine Technician Diploma will be asset.
- Min 2- 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge in both CNC and Manual setups.
- Ability to read and create drawing to explain issues.
- Sound knowledge of the industry standard machine shop practices.
- Experience working with a wide range of materials and parts sizes.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances.
- Extremely organized, adopt safe and tidy working habits.
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and with mínimal supervision.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
