Battat is a vendor on 15+ Amazon marketplaces, with thousands of products sold worldwide. As a growing team at Battat, the Amazon Team is looking for a QA and Compliance Specialist to assist in all QA and compliance cases for its marketplaces.

The QA and Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing quality assurance and compliance support to Battat’s Amazon sales and operational activities. They will be providing the compliance foundation for all Amazon markets as the single source of truth to meet security compliance obligations. This is performed by working closely with Marketing and Sales Managers, Manufacturing Operations, and Amazon Vendor Managers assigned to the company.

**A day in the life of a QA & Compliance Specialist**:
With multiple marketplaces operating worldwide, the QA & Compliance Specialist will receive compliance and QA requests from individual markets daily, sometimes with strict deadlines to comply and sometimes in different languages. The Specialist will start their day by compiling the request in English into the Master compliance and QA action list.

Depending on the nature of the compliance or QA case, it is the Specialist’s responsibility to then identify the priority items to work on and the best course of action to resolve the issue. Subsequent tasks could either involve liaising with the merchandizing and shipping department at Battat to get critical document created and uploaded, raising and escalating cases to Amazon, updating internal or external product listing information, etc.

When new products get added to the catalogue or when products need updating for compliance reason, the Specialist will assist the Sales department in creating / updating product listings and ensure compliance needs are proactively met for new product add-ons.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist and support sales and operations teams in detecting and solving compliance issues in accordance to Amazon compliance requests;
- Assist and support sales and operations teams in following Amazon process in providing relevant compliance documents for new products added to the catalogue;
- Participate in resolving quality issues on Amazon catalogue products;
- Perform continuous in-process verification of compliance to proactively meet compliance requirements;
- Assist on adjusting/updating product listings and pricing for the worldwide catalogue;
- Occasionally assist the planning team on data consolidation of Amazon metrics.

**Core Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience in a QA/compliance position or relevant experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable communicating with various stakeholders including external partners and regulatory authorities
- Exemplary project management capabilities, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, with capability to prioritize multiple tasks based on Amazon dictated strict deadlines
- Strong Excel competency to easily distill large sheets of data and create pivot tables
- A detailed oriented person with a passion for ensuring product portfolios remain reliable, maintainable, and compliant.
- A good understanding of Amazon Vendor Central and capacity to maneuver the interface (preferred but not mandatory)
