Lacombe, Canada Lacombe Light Therapy Full time

Overview:
We are opening a new light therapy clinic in Lacombe, and are seeking an individual with experience in Narrow Band Ultraviolet Light Therapy. Located in the Medcombe Walk-In Clinic, the light therapy clinic will be treating patients with psoriasis, eczema, and other related conditions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system (AVA).
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Collect payments for services rendered.
- Setting patients up in unit, explaining process and procedure, and ensure proper protective eyewear is in place.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience with Narrow Band Ultraviolet Light Therapy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically AVA, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Light Therapy: 2 years (preferred)
