**Golf Course Grounds Crew**

As a member of the Golf Course Grounds Crew, you will perform a variety of duties, both individually or as a part of a team, under the direction of the Superintendent. Primary duties include (but not limited to):

- Collaborating with the team to provide great playing conditions throughout the season
- Operating various machinery and tools for the maintenance of the property
- Assisting with daily and seasonal maintenance practices
- Assisting with irrigation installation, maintenance and operation
- Setting up the course (changing hole locations and tee locations) on a daily basis
- Manual labour, such as shovelling, raking, debris clean-up and gardening
- Litter and trash collection from around the property
- Helping other departments when needed
- Valid driver's license and a way to get to work on a consistent basis
- Able to work early mornings and weekends
- An appreciation for the outdoors
- Comfortable working outdoors in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain and snow
- Follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate well with other staff members, supervisors and clientele
- Lift up to 50kg occasionally, 10kg regularly, and continuously lift, push, carry objects
- Comfortable working with/around motorized equipment and misdirected golf balls
- Experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, gardening, or first aid is not required but is considered an asset

Compensation for this position includes:

- $18-$21/hour based on experience
- Golfing privileges
- Discount meals

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
