Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Properly cap aerospace hose assemblies to protect against contamination and damage during storage, handling, and transportation.
- Attach tags to the hose assemblies, documenting vital information such as installation dates, inspection records, part numbers, and other relevant details.
- Conduct thorough inspections of hose assemblies to modify any discrepancies or irregularities before capping and tagging
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and company procedures throughout the cap and tag process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to support efficient workflow and timely delivery of aerospace hose assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of caps, tags, and related materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, quality, and efficiency in the aerospace hose manufacturing operation.

The individual will also be crossed trained on other duties throughout the manufacture that may include,
- Pick and assemble product for distribution orders and production
- Check materials and product according to instruction
- Label parts with good attention to details according to customer’s requirement
- Mark defects and fill out nonconformance sheet
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products according to customer’s requirement

Qualifications:

- Canadian citizen or valid permanent resident card
- Clear criminal record
- Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing, hoses assembly, or a similar technical role is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications and documentation.
- Able to operate a forklift is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in aspects of work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines
