**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for start-up and review of the mixing schedule
- Visually inspect mixer to ensure no GMP or mechanical issues - report deficiencies to Leadhand and/or Supervisor
- Follow procedure and mixing standards
- Ensure batters are finished in a timely manner - preventing downtime between batches
- Ensure all documentation is done and completed in a timely manner
- Check and document every batch of batter temperature
- Document any formula deviations on the formula sheet
- Ensure all variances to formulas are noted and reported to Leadhand/Supervisor
- Inform Leadhand of any quality issue immediately
- Ensure the work area is kept neat and clean
- Ensure a clean floor area throughout the shift
- Prior to leaving at the end of the shift - your work area should be organized and clean; all garbage must be emptied and containers must be clean
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
- Ensure GMP's and safe food handling practices are being followed
- Perform all other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Must work with speed and accuracy to keep up with the production process
- Must have excellent attendance and work habits
- GMP and safety awareness
- Basic Computer Knowledge
