**About this Opportunity**

The Line Cook is mainly in charge of preparation, plate presentation, and consistent quality of food delivery in a timely fashion.

**What are we looking for and what can you bring to the table?**

The Line Cooks duties are:

- Consistently preparing and delivering scrumptious food.
- Setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies.
- Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
- Conducting inventory of products before and after each shift
- Cooperating and healthy collaboration with necessary teams involved.
- Preparing banquet meals and assist in cleaning, as required.
- Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with the standardized recipes, preparation of the correct amounts of all banquet/dining room menu items
- i.e. All sauces, cuts of meat, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, while complying with Food Safe regulations and safety standards.

- 2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant kitchen is required

**Required Licenses/ Certificates/ Skills**:

- FOODSAFE Level 1

**Shift Availability**:

- ** Schedule we can provide**:Day shift/ Evening shift/ Monday to Friday and Weekend availability
- **Hours of Work**: 30 to 40 hours per week, flexible shifts
- ** Flexibility Required**:Flexible to work weekends and holidays
- ** Start Date**: As soon as possible
- The individual must be flexible to work weekends and holidays; and would work 40 hours/week during the peak season.

- ** Job Environment**:On-site only, Indoor kitchen
- ** Salary**:Starting $19.00 to $26.00 per hour
- ** Supplemental Pay**: Gratuity and Event-surcharge payouts
- ** Ability to commute/relocate**: Richmond, BC- reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**The Operations**:
The RCC clubhouse features kitchen facilities, two restaurants, and an outdoor patio and dining facility.

The F&B department is comprised of two food and beverage outlets and catering for events. As a private club we provide a quintessential dining destination, with our Macans restaurant, and a relaxing, casual setting within Aces.
