**General Description of the Role**

This position is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and quality processing of unfinished products in preparation for bottling and aging. The role manages the processing operators who conduct the hands-on blending, barreling, and processing of liquids in preparation for aging and bottling. In addition to leading the processing portion, this position will also manage the incoming and outgoing materials for the department.

**Overview of Role Responsibilities**

**People Management**
- Supervise and oversee a team of Liquid Processing operators in a way that complies with Campari’s ways of working while engaging the team in processing accountabilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training as appropriate to develop team capabilities, improve performance, and/or onboard new employees.

**Quality**
- Ensure liquid product is managed in compliance with all SOPs to target quality outcomes. This position will be responsible for strict adherence to formula, filtration, and final preparation of product SOP’s.
- Establish aging room, blending room, and barreling, quality and consistency checks and measures.
- Daily audits of processes to be conducted to ensure proper procedures are being followed and a quality product is being processed.
- Comply with all GMP, and food safety standards related to the liquid processing department.
- Work with appropriate internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and/or to resolve quality risks when identified.
- This position shall work with the local and regional quality teams to resolve any critical quality issues as defined by the Quality Manager and Plant Manager.

**Safety**
- In coordination with the site HSES Manger, ensure all operations comply with GMP practices and site safety rules.
- Ensure all employees are following prescribed PPE safety requirements for their assigned work area.
- Consistently promote a safe working environment. This includes keeping all materials, supplies, tools, and any other production-related items in their place. Implement and sustain 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Immediately report and properly document any safety items related to you or any departmental employees. Safety items to be reported include but are not limited to bodily injury, near misses, potential dangers, spills, and/or any other accidents.
- Implement and sustain all relevant food safety standards. Lead and/or participate in safety meetings as designated.
- This position shall be required to address all safety-related items in their department and lead any discussions surrounding safety.

**Efficiency**
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the processing department including the training and development of the processing employees.
- Schedule the necessary barrel dumps or tankers unloading to ensure all production is met.
- Work proactively and collaboratively with other Bottling and Maintenance department employees to ensure daily production demands are met.
- Shall implement continuous improvement actions to close gaps in KPIs or increase productivity as needed. Lead and/or participate in root cause investigations to solve problems by attempting to identify and correct the root causes of event
