**Job Profile**
Reports to the ORC Branch Manager
Under the direct supervision of the ORC Shop Supervisor - the experienced Diesel Technician will be responsible for all duties assigned below
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Specializing In diesel equipment repair as main responsibility
**Other Duties Assigned**
- MIG, TIG, and STICK Welders
- Natural Gas Generators
- Wire Feeders
- Welding Positioners
- Other related welding equipment
- Repairs, refurbishes, and conducts preventative maintenance on electric and engine drives - Assembles electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental
- Tests and calibrates machines to see if they are functional for rent or sale
**Other Duties**
- Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other equipment to stock required parts in the shop
- Prepares and completes paperwork for all machine repairs
- Occasionally required to service equipment and customers off-site
- Assists with parts and equipment inventories as well as rental agreement paperwork
- Arranges freight and transportation
- Maintains communication with all branch personnel
- Required Qualifications And Competencies
**Qualifications**
**- Engine drive experience**
**- Low voltage experience**
**- Small engine experience**
**- Electrical repair ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and schematics**
**- Electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis**
**- Generator knowledge would be an asset**
**- Own tools preferred.**
**Experience**
**- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.**
**- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing Diesel/Natural Gas engines.**
**- High School Diploma or GED certificate**
**- One year Technical College or equivalent work experience.**
**- Must have a valid Driver's License.**
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
