**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and implementation of HACCP and Food Safety Management Programs.
- Oversee verification and monitoring of the FSQA, HACCP, GMP and Quality Assurance plans.
- Achieve and Sustain BRC (or like) Certification.
- Development of FSQA KPIs and Creation/Implementation of product quality reports.
- Lead audit preparation and traceability exercises.
- Lead the creation, implementation, and monitoring of Environmental Monitoring Programs
- Assist and Provide guidance to Production as required regarding food safety and quality concerns.
- Develop and Lead Mock Recall program.
- Stay current on CFIA, USDA and other FSQA regulations and guidelines.

**Qualifications**
- A degree/diploma in a Science related discipline (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biological, Food Science, Biotechnology) or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
- Knowledge/experience of HACCP, GMP is required.
- Knowledge/experience with CFIA, SFCR and USDA is considered an asset
- Knowledge/experience of GFSI Standards is considered an asset (BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000)
- Pre-exposure to laboratory tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Experience in the creation and development of SOPs and record management.

**Salary**: $105,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- HACCP: 3 years (preferred)
