Brampton, Canada Taylor Demers Mail Processing Inc Full time

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team who is familiar with the print industry. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in determining job costs and ensuring accurate and competitive bids. If you have a strong background in print estimating and are skilled in using estimating software such as Mailshop or Avanti, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain high quality and customer service standards in providing estimates to Clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide estimates to maximize profit, while taking into account market pricing
- Ensure all estimates are consistent with the Companies capabilities
- Provide estimates based on specifications provided and work with the team and client to ensure accuracy
- Leverage previous estimates as a base to building a new estimate and keep this information ready for review
- Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Production to ensure volume, stock, consistency and timing requirements are accurately accounted for
- Coordinate with Shipping to ensure best pricing
- Coordinate with Data Manager for estimating mailing/polybagging/mail processing, as well as trucking for large volume mailing jobs
- Monitor exchange rate for U.S. work
- Maintain strategy list for estimates based on feedback, meetings
- Maintain filing/tracking system for estimates
- Provide estimate copies to Production when required

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in print estimating
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Mailshop and Avanti
- Strong knowledge of print materials and machines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
