Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, on s'attendra à ce que le T**echnicien en simulation III **effectue ce qui suit:

- Accomplir des tâches complexes au bureau, sur place, à l'externe et en laboratoire. Les projets touchés pouvant être de nature expérimentale ou conceptuelle.
- Résoudre divers problèmes complexes sur les simulateurs et/ou les systèmes d'aéronef.

Les principales responsabilités comprendront mais ne seront pas limitées à:

- Accomplir des tâches de maintenance préventive sur les simulateurs et les systèmes de simulation connexes.
- Aider à diagnostiquer et à corriger les problèmes sur les simulateurs et les systèmes de simulation connexes.
- Diagnostiquer et corriger les problèmes épineux sur les simulateurs et les systèmes de simulation connexes.
- Utiliser le système de gestion de la maintenance pour consigner les activités de maintenance et en assurer le suivi.
- Enseigner les aptitudes de base aux techniciens.
- Prodiguer une formation technique aux autres techniciens.
- Suivre toutes les activités de formation précisées.
- De façon active et continue, suivre de la formation et voir à sa croissance professionnelle.
- Exécuter des simulations avant et après vol sur tous les simulateurs.
- Effectuer des alignements visuels.
- Exécuter les essais d'approbation et de certification de la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) et en évaluer les résultats.
- Aider l'équipe de l'ingénierie en ce qui a trait aux modifications, aux changements de conception et aux améliorations apportées aux logiciels.
- Effectuer les remises à neuf et apporter les modifications au matériel.
- Accroître ses connaissances et ses compétences en vue d'améliorer sa capacité à titre d'expert technique.
- Apporter des modifications aux logiciels en vue de corriger les problèmes sur les simulateurs et les systèmes de simulation connexes.
- Cibler et coordonner les efforts pour corriger les défaillances dans la formation.
- Aider le chef de groupe dans les activités quotidiennes de maintenance.
- Prendre connaissance des règles applicables au système de gestion de la qualité de CAE et les respecter.
- Offrir un soutien au service à la clientèle et répondre aux besoins des clients dans les meilleurs délais.
- Exécuter des tâches logistiques, notamment la réception de pièces, des réparations ainsi que des essais et des validations.
- Accomplir des tâches d'entretien afin de maintenir les simulateurs selon les exigences.
- Exécuter des tâches administratives, au besoin.
- Effectuer des tâches pour soutenir le groupe des services techniques, au besoin.

**Qualifications**:

- Formation technique de 2 ans ou formation équivalente.
- 5 années d'expérience directe au minimum avec les simulateurs et au moins 3 années d'expérience en lien avec les simulateurs par emplacement assigné.
- Capacité à utiliser tous les types de matériel d'essai.
- Capacité à utiliser les dispositifs et les logiciels de diagnostic sur au moins un type de simulateur.
- Compétences en dépannage.
- Capacité à réaliser des analyses et des recherches approfondies sur les mises à niveau et les modifications de matériel.
- Capacité à aider l'équipe de l'ingénierie de CAE SimuFlite en ce qui a trait aux modifications, aux changements de conception et aux améliorations apportées aux logiciels.
- Capacité à participer à l'élaboration et à la présentation d'une formation technique à l'intention des autres techniciens.
- Capacité démontrée à agir comme expert technique pour au moins un système de simulateur principal (p. ex. systèmes visuel, de mouvement, de bord, etc.).
- Connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et xxx.

In this role, the **Simulator Technician III** will be expected to:

- Performs complex assignments in office, on site, field, and laboratory. Projects may be of experimental or design nature.
- Solve a variety of complex simulator and/or aircraft systems problems.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Diagnose and correct complex problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
- Train technicians in basic skills.
- Provide technical training for other technicians.
- Complete all designated training activities.
- Actively pursue continued professional growth and training.
- Perform pre-flight and post flight on all simulators.
- Perform visual alignments.
- Run and evaluate required Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approval Test Guide (ATG)/ Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests.
