**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Are you a proactive Assistant Planner who wants to make an impact in the world of beauty? Join us as at Sephora where your analytical, strategic, and inventory management skills will help build our brand partnerships, forecast client behaviours, and optimize inventory levels across our network Our energetic and innovative team continually improves speed and accuracy on our promise to our clients in a fast growing and ever-evolving marketplace. **WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
- Review and action In-Stocks to ensure healthy position for core and newness (SKU/Store level)
- Support Planning Manager to ensure appropriate WOS levels and work with brands on ETA for back in-stock
- Track core and newness purchase orders to ensure inventory is received on time at all Canadian DCs and stores to meet the business needs including newness launches, animation, and promotional events
- Analyze newness/launch performance and seasonality, adjusting forecasts, receipts, and inventory levels; coordinate allocations to support sales performance
- Handle regular replenishment forecasts and orders and close PO's on a regular basis to ensure inventory is captured; responsible for ordering within OTB Receipt Budget
- Build manual PO as needed (i.e., newness, new stores, adhoc promotional support POs)
- Collaborate with Planning Manager and Merchant to communicate and elevate late key launches focused on inventory strategy
- Set up newness in Blue Yonder (JDA) for accurate purchasing and allocation of inventory
- Handle productive assortment and recommendations of presentation quantity, items to discontinue, and items to develop, within new efficiency guidelines and Merchandising Team
- Conduct newness hindsight and key initiative's analysis on a seasonal basis
- Generate reports on vendor/brand fill rates and lead time accuracy, update business trends, and stock continuity weekly
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:
- You have previous retail experience; Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great at expressing yourself clearly and creatively both verbally and in writing
- You are technically savvy and are proficient with Microsoft Office; strong proficiency in Excel required
- You are a curious go-getter and love tackling problems while using your analytical skills to find solutions
- You have mastered the art of collaboration and have the ability to balance multiple priorities
- You pay attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced and adaptable environment
