We manufacture ocean sensing solutions - sensors, instrumentation, and deployment systems - for business and government customers on all seven continents. As a hi-tech business, our technical team includes experts and engineers with experience in the acoustic, mechanical, electrical, software, and embedded software domains. We operate from locations at either end of Canada: Halifax (Dartmouth) on the Atlantic Coast, and Victoria on the Pacific Coast.

**The mission of this role is “Make Some Noise”**

**Functional Accountabilities**:

- Company First: Prioritizes what's best for the company over what's best for Marketing (CASH)
- Establishes the Brand: Documents, builds buy in, brings alive and reinforces the strategic brand (STRATEGY)
- Has a Plan: Recommendations to improve social posting results over 12 months are explicit and shared (STRATEGY)
- Achieves Results: Hits quarterly and annual content posting targets OR recommends a mitigation plan, early enough to recoup (CASH)
- Raises the Bar: Active participant in the pursuit of higher performance standards within the company (CULTURE)
- Internal Customers: Addresses the needs of internal customers in a way that reinforces cohesion and alignment (CULTURE)
- Owns the Message: Conceptualizes and posts market compelling content, error free, in a voice consistent with brand and audience (EXECUTION)
- Manages the Details: Plans and executes marketing events autonomously (EXECUTION)
- Story Telling: Grows the inventory of documented stories that enhance AML's credibility (EXECUTION)

**Key Competencies**:

- Nimble, Creative Thinker: Ability to generate insight across all conversation types, in real-time; Demonstrated ability to see the path and move decisively, quickly. Confidently conceptualizes better.
- Brand understanding: Understanding of brand at the strategic level; Demonstrated history of interpreting desired brand into action program
- Data extraction and analysis skills: Fluent understanding of data and data structures; Knows Excel / Google Sheets; Comfortable with ERP / CRM data; Demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable information
- Technical Understanding: Track record of communicating technical detail; Proven ability to learn (quickly) the ins and outs of technical messaging in our field

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
