**Store Manager - Shooze**

**Job Purpose**:
The Shooze Store Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of our store located in Decarie Square. He/she will ensure that the procedures and policies of Shooze are enforced daily, and will be involved in the organizational and operational aspects of the store.

The Store Manager will report, as required, weekly and monthly sales reports as well as to deal with customer complaints and make management aware of what needs to be accomplished to improve sales. He/she will work closely with all sales associates to provide training and proper feedback.

**Job Duties**:

- Complete weekly schedules and assign duties and responsibilities to the store staff

Manage the team on the floor, scheduling breaks and implementing weekly time sheets
- Responsible for ensuring that price changes are implemented properly
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the store while on duty
- Responsible for the verification and balancing of all cashes
- Responsible for sales reports and inventory counts to head office
- Track and implement financial goals for the store
- Ensure strategic goals and sales targets of the store are met by maximizing sales and gross profit, reviewing sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory.
- Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures.
- Ensure that all merchandise transfers, damages and overstocks are handled properly each week
- Ensure that the store is clean, maintained at the highest standard and is safe for all employees
- Ensure that store plan-o-grams and displays are implemented weekly
- Develop and suggest strategies and new ideas to grow your store’s sales.
- Developing and arranging promotional materials and in-store displays.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Excellent people and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in merchandise and inventory management an asset
- Excellent in problem solving
- Able to work in a team environment
- 2-5 years of retail sales required or retail management experience
- Must be fashion-oriented. Experience in shoes or apparel an asset.
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes
- Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory, manage cash registers, and detailed report analysis
- Fluent in spoken and written English, spoken French

Salary $36,400 per annum. 37-1/2 hours per week. Benefits after 6 months.

Il/elle travaillera en étroite collaboration avec tous les associés de vente pour leur fournir une formation et un feedback adéquat.

- Responsable de l'ouverture et de la fermeture du magasin pendant le service.
- Vérifier et équilibrer tous les encaissements.
- Responsable des rapports de vente et des inventaires au siège social.
- Suivre et mettre en œuvre les objectifs financiers du magasin
- S'assurer que les objectifs stratégiques et les objectifs de vente du magasin sont atteints en maximisant les ventes et le bénéfice brut, en examinant les performances de vente, en contrôlant les dépenses et en gérant les stocks.
