Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to meet sales goals and increase profitability
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

**Skills**:

- Proficient in cash handling procedures, including cash register operation, counting money, and making change accurately
- Demonstrated ability to sell products or services and meet sales targets
- Knowledge of marketing principles to promote products or services effectively
- Proven supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team of employees
- Solid understanding of store management principles, including inventory control, merchandising, and customer service standards
- Sales management experience to drive sales performance and achieve revenue goals
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors or suppliers

**About the company**

Olly Fresco’s is a prepared food market with one of the country’s largest selection of ready-to-eat offerings for busy professionals. Since 2009, our focus has been to provide a vast selection of nutritious and delicious meals at affordable prices. We have two locations in Downtown Montreal and are seeking a qualified and experienced manager to lead the team in this region.

As an Olly Fresco’s GM, you will be responsible for leading every aspect of the business. You will oversee the production of high-quality menu items, recruitment of qualified staff, maintain strong revenue and other metrics, and ensure an overall efficient operation. You will act in accordance with and strictly uphold the Olly Fresco’s Standards for Product Quality and Customer Experience, and both champion accountability of the team and hold yourself accountable for the day to day performance of the business.

At Olly Fresco’s, we require all of our managers to have both front of house and back of house experience, be very open to learning opportunities, and have the ability to step into any role and department at any time to coach and train members of the team. You will lead the team by example and assist the team any way possible to deliver a smooth and gratifying experience for our customers, every day.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Recruit, train, and retain high quality full-time and part-time staff as needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Ordering and processing daily inventory. Maintaining adequate and purposeful levels of inventory and merchandise.
- Take accountability for budgeting both labor and food costs in accordance with standard operating metrics.
- As a routine, regularly inspect the quality of the products being served to customers, making adjustments and corrections as needed.
- Ensure absolute compliance with all food safety regulations. Maintain a food safety certification.
- Have strong internal controls in place to reduce running operational costs and identify ways to reduce waste.
- Implement corporate policies and standards and ensure all staff are compliant with various corporate polices.
- Ensure all financial reporting is done accurately and with integrity. Compile weekly reports highlighting various areas of the business.
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring retention.

Requirements for Qualification:

- 5+ Years of experience operating a high-volume restaurant
- Extensive food knowledge and culinary skills, as well as restaurant industry knowledge, supply chain management, and food safety.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong people skills, communication skills, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Adaptable, creative, and reliable with a "can-do" mentality.
