Calgary, Canada Canadian Centre for Men and Families Full time

**Family Shelter Client and Program Manager, Calgary Centre, Canadian Centre for Men and Families**

**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is a mental health and social service charitable agency that works to fill critical gaps in men’s services to reduce male suicide, empower fathers undergoing separation and divorce, and help boys and men heal from trauma. We support, empower and advocate for men before, during and after a crisis, in a safe, open, inclusive and supportive environment.

Since 2014, the agency has opened and operated Centres in Toronto, Ottawa, London, Calgary and Vancouver. The agency, in 2021, opened Toronto’s first Family Shelter for Men and Children who have experienced family violence. CCMF Alberta is now opening a Family Shelter for Men and Children in Calgary, Alberta.

The Family Shelter Client and Program Manager will be responsible for client intake, case management and facility operations at the new Family Shelter for Men and Children, as well as the management of programs and services operated out of the space. It is a challenging role that demands patience, diplomacy, compassion and hard work, as well as attention to detail and an ability to multitask. The individual will work as a team leader to create and maintain a safe, respectful, welcoming and supportive space for men and families.

The Family Shelter Client and Program Manager will report to the CCMF Alberta Executive Director. CCMF Alberta is embedded within the Canadian Centre for Men and Families, a national Canada Revenue Agency accredited charitable organization with a national reporting structure.
