**Job Description**:
**NAPA AUTO PARTS is seeking an experienced Full-Time Parts Specialist for our location in Dartmouth, NS.**

The salary will depend on applicable experience. The entry level salary is $17.45 / hour + benefits, paid time off, an awesome discount on parts and many other great benefits

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good relations with our customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.

You will support overall store operations in order to meet NAPA’s exacting customer service and operational standards by preparing customer orders and processing returns.

**_ Job Duties & Responsibilities:_**
- Handle orders and requests for parts or parts information efficiently.
- Specify and identify parts needed to meet customer requirements, using online and book catalogues.
- Use parts information resources to identify parts required accurately.
- Effectively communicate features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers.
- Create purchase orders for requisitions on non-stocking or special-order parts.
- Follow-up on special order items and notify the customer when received.
- Located out-of-stock parts from other sources.
- Recommend substitute and complementary products to what the customer is asking.
- Manage the daily store operations.
- Maintaining inventory on display, on shelves and in bins.
- Performing physical inventories.
- Reporting any discrepancies in stock levels.
- Upgrade knowledge automotive and heavy-duty products and services by training on-the-job and participation in educational and development programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Automotive parts experience
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for sales
- Good priority management and listening skills
- Interest in new technologies and continuous training
- Customer-oriented approach and team spirit
- Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lb.)
- High school diploma and/or training in automotive sales or heavy vehicle parts equipment sales
