**Finance & Administrative Assistant**

**Responsibilities**:

- Finance_
- Processing accounts payable such as entering and paying supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Maintaining the purchase order system
- Processing accounts receivable such as entering sales invoices and following up for customer payments.
- Communicating with supplies and customers to resolve any issues
- Maintaining job costing records and providing to management in a timely and efficient manner
- Preparing bank deposits
- Maintaining the filing system for all accounting and financial records
- Tracking and verifying accuracy of employee time sheets
- Preparing payroll summary of hours for entry into payroll system
- Communicating with the company’s external accountant as required.
- Administrative_
- Ordering of office supplies, cleaning supplies and maintaining the overall appearance of the office location
- Other general administrative duties as required
- Requirements_
- 2 to 4 years of bookkeeping experience in an office environment
- College diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping is an asset
- Proficient in the use of QuickBooks - at least 3 years’ experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office software - strong proficiency with Excel is preferred
- Strong communications skills and a high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision as required
- Must be able to work well under pressure/deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
