Stratford Orthodontics is excited to add a driven and passionate Hygienist to our well-established practice in Stratford, ON. If you have been thinking about specializing in orthodontics, we have the perfect opportunity for you, as we are committed to training the right person. This position will be a 18 month contract with the opportunity to with the possibility of becoming full time.

Stratford Orthodontics is part of the Corus Orthodontist family. We are a dynamic group of practices across North America with over 60+ practices and 950 team members who believe in preserving and evolving our specialty of orthodontics and protecting the integrity of the patient-doctor relationship.

Our goals include providing exceptional patient care, preserving, and continually strengthening the patient-doctor relationship, fostering an inclusive culture, and fully supporting our team members.

**About the role - Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for assisting the orthodontist in the delivery of patient care
- Direct bonding of brackets
- Insert/cement appliances.
- Invisalign delivery
- Removal of brackets and aligner attachments
- Polishing of the tooth surface
- Deliver patient personal oral hygiene care, appliance, and elastic instructions.
- Educate patient and parents on treatment progress.
- Chart procedures

**Qualifications you bring**:

- Registered Dental Hygienist
- Current CPR certification
