**About the Opportunity**:
Clerks for Operating Room are responsible for facilitating OR related activities. Such activities include efficient utilization of clinic nursing/anaesthesia time. In addition, the Clerk B is responsible for the coordination of registration and admission, booking patients and the required tests in preparation for surgery.
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- One-year related clerical experience, or successful completion of a recognized one year secretarial/office/business program
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with HSM / STAR / PHS / Portal / Share preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word and Excel
- Data entry experience
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties in a fast paced environment
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Skills testing may be performed for this position.

**Hours**:
- Permanent, Part-time (40%); 28 hours biweekly
- Hours of work to include 0700-1500 and 1200-2000, weekends (0730-1730) and holidays in rotation
**Compensation and Incentives**:
$22.89 - $24.89 hourly
