**Role Responsibilities**:
The new Systems Planning Branch and Indigenous Health Division are seeking Branch Administrators. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys no two days being the same and exceeds at problem solving this could be the perfect role for you.

This position functions as the office coordinator with daily administration support to the branch. This includes, but not limited to, tracking and management of staffing requests and other Human Resource processes, records management, arranging meetings and functions (hosting, booking of boardrooms or facilities, scheduling and confirmation of attendees, compiling and distribution of meeting packages, including tracking decision items), processing and management of Action Requests, creating and combining financial reports, as well as keeping calendars updated and arranged for the management team, and other duties as required.

As the Branch Administrator, you will work with administrative team members to ensure proactive and timely response by the branch to division while following department requirements. Additionally, you will liaise with staff in other Divisions across the Department.

This position demands strong interpersonal skills, and the incumbent must exercise independent judgment, set priorities, and make decisions in a fast-paced as well as complex working environment. Proactivity and the ability to action and produce high quality services under tight timelines are essential.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Coordination of branch responses to Action Requests and briefing notes for the Associate Deputy Minister, Deputy Minister and Minister to ensure accurate, high quality as well as timely responses.
- Management of the Executive Director's schedule and coordination of all signings and approvals, HR Support, general administrative support, filing, budget and expenditures
- Managing high-profile and confidential issues including coordination of the Executive Director’s requests
- Reviewing departmental expenditures, commitments and budget projections
- Regularly liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders including Executive Teams and other assistants demonstrating excellent time management, organizational, coordination and tracking skills while maintaining a high degree of professionalism as well as confidentiality.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma and three years of related experience is required. Administrative diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Equivalencies maybe considered - directly related education or experience on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

- Experience with budget and forecasting
- Experience with ARTs (Action Request Tracking System)
- Experience with 1GX- Records management
