**About Us**

Fenwick Vacation Rentals is a boutique vacation rental firm that has been operating in Canmore since 2015. We operate multiple vacation rental properties in Canmore, AB and host thousands of visitors, every year, from around the world. As a short-term rental manager, we offer our services to property owners in the Canmore area who wish to operate their investment property as a short-term rental unit. We provide a full-service model to our property owner clientele, which includes MARKETING & ADVERTISING, GUEST SERVICES, MAINTENANCE & REPAIR, CLEANING SERVICES, FINANCIALS & REPORTING, CONSULTATION SERVICES, and much more. We’re a small, but growing business that offers best-in-class service to our clients and our guests.

**Housekeeping Manager**

The Housekeeping Manager will report directly to the Director.

The position will offer a full-time schedule based at our head office, with local travel to the various Fenwick Vacation Rental properties.

The main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Hiring and training staff.
- Developing and assigning staff schedules.
- Purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Working with guests who have specific housekeeping needs.
- Coordinating housekeeping needs with other department managers.
- Performing cleaning tasks when staff don't show up for work or the team is shorthanded.
- Communicating room deficiencies and maintenance work requirements to the appropriate departments.
- Managing budgets and controlling costs, productivity reports, linen inventories etc.
- Adhere to Fenwick Vacation Rental standards and ensure all staff follow procedures.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the department and ensure service standards are followed.
- Drive Housekeepers to rental units.
- Conduct quality control checks on unit turnover.
- Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Manage the departmental budget in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Oversee the recruitment and training of all Housekeeping subordinates.
- Balance operational, administrative, and personnel needs.
- Manage the laundry room operations.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping management experience required.
- Driver’s license required.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to speak, write, read English proficiently.
