We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our team in Fort St. John. Working on the Site C Hydro Dam Project, this position is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and maintenance, leading the field team, and managing schedules. If you have previous experience within the concrete industry, then this position could be for you

**This position requires relocation to Fort St. John for the duration of the project. **

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all plant operations while coordinating and monitoring daily workload throughout the plant.
- Record daily use and current inventories of materials to ensure the supply of all materials is adequate.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure staffing requirements is met to carry out projects.
- Supervise, motivate, and train employees.
- Evaluate and monitor project performance.
- Address and resolve employee issues; handle disciplinary actions.
- Schedule and conduct weekly safety meetings; maintain applicable reports and logs.
- Ensure all personnel follow safety procedures, including the proper use of safety equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Experienced in supervising or coordinating major construction projects.
- Minimum of (2) years of ready-mix plant operations experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate employees.
- Knowledge of all aspects of concrete production and construction.
- Safety mindset with the ability to instill a safe work culture at the plant.
- Strong project management skills with flexibility to transition to new projects.
- Experience working with software such as Excel and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Working schedule**:

- Typical work week is Monday through Friday, with the expectation of overtime.
- The project manager must be available for emergency after hours calls regarding plant operations.
