**Payroll Clerk**

Full-time, Temporary 6 months (possibility to convert into permanent)

**Responsibilities**
- Help in the preparation of payroll for employees in Canada and US.
- Ensuring accuracy of all payroll data, such as, benefits forms, expense reimbursements, deductions
- Participate to the year-end activities for the Canadian and US payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Process all regular, premiums, vacation pay, allowances, increases, retroactive, commission, adjustments and other special payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Calculation and reconciliation of vacation, compensation and sick leave banks and payments.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of payroll and benefits functions for audit purposes, in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Input new hires, rehires and terminations and make any changes regarding employee records (change of address, income taxes, bank account, benefits administration, etc.).
- Generate and process records of employment, income tax forms, remittances and cheque requests.
- Perform a variety of statistical tasks and clerical duties.

**Qualifications**
- 2 or more years of payroll, accounting or administrative experience
- Strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- High level of proficiency with Excel
- Experience with ADP an asset
- US payroll experience an asset
- Bilingual an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
