HOSPITALITY AND CATERING LEAD
**Full Time with a flexible work schedule (40 hours per week)**
Along with being a well-organized, highly motivated individual that has worked in commercial food facility or Catering/Banquet Services. You have a high level of customer service skills. Your experience includes: coordinating requests for catering and event bookings; preparing contracts, billing, invoicing, the supervision and scheduling of staff; and set up and take down of events. This position works at the Smokehouse Restaurant Kitchen.
**Qualifications include a**:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent credentials;
- Must have experience in Catering/Banquet Services as a Host and/or Server or worked in a commercial food facility;
- Experienced in coordinating requests for catering, room and event bookings;
- Excellent customer service skills, personable, and professional;
- Ability to develop and maintain respectful, positive, and supportive relationships all staff, patrons, customers and vendors of PGNC;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team;
- Experienced in working with individuals who have barriers to employment;
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Aboriginal peoples and cultures;
- Experienced in handling cash and operating a cash register;
- Experienced in POS systems, completing invoicing and billings;
- Food Safe Certification;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and E-mail;
- Possess a minimum of Class 5 Driver's License (must have the ability and willingness to obtain a Class 4 Driver's License); and
- Ability to undergo a successful criminal record search.
