**Full Job Description**
The Directional Driller will be responsible for meeting drilling timelines are met while working with crew members in a positive, safety minded atmosphere.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspection on Company Vehicles
- Attend and participate in Daily Tailboard Safety talks.
- Ensure all equipment is inspected before use daily.
- Pre-inspect Drill Shots, ensuring proper locates are on site and site is set up properly to preform the work safely
- Ability to operate all equipment functions independently and safely
- Ability to use the locate box and/or drill equipment
- Provide technical support to clients and crew members as required
- Keep up to date of all directional drilling techniques and all surveying methods
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving of loads and conduct in response to hand or audio signals from team members
- Interpret stakes and signage on the land
- Ensure all reporting requirements are fulfilled
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions included but not limited to extreme temperatures (heat and cold), rain, sleet, snow, wind, and/or wet/humid conditions
- Maintain excellent communication between members of the team and customers
- Working as a member of the team by assisting other members when required
- This position is unionized
**Requirements**:
Valid AZ license an asset (G License will be considered based on Drilling experience)
Minimum of one year experience
First aid and CPR certification
Pay: $31.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
