**Project Manager, Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV)**

**How will you contribute to the team?**

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Manage schedule, budget, and quality of projects (client side and project delivery side).
- Participate in the procurement process.
- Lead preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate internal resource assignments to deliver projects whilst developing and cultivating skills within the organization to create a viable transportation electrification team that is competitive.
- Be client facing regarding marketing, business development and on projects, by developing working relationships with all applicable stakeholders, including municipalities, charging equipment manufacturers, transit agencies, utility companies and local municipal governments.
- Manage the communication and coordination with subcontractors, partners, suppliers, with the project teams and the customer.
- Work within the TPO and the BU to coordinate the Battery Electric Bus (BEB)/Fleet Electrification service offerings to win work.
- Guide Rail, Transit and Mobility and the Engineering services team members to enable them to successfully deliver engineering consultancy projects.
- Assist the development of existing processes and behaviors into best practices.
- Develop and maintain important client relationships as part of overall business strategy.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities.

**What will you contribute?**

**_ Qualifications - _**
- Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. (PEO eligibility is an Asset).
- Professional Engineer status and/or PMP status or working to achieve such.
- Bilingual in English and French is a must (written and spoken).

**_ Skills and Experiences - _**
- Degree qualified with experience of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.
- 7-10 years of demonstrable experience of managing the delivery of Battery Electric Bus (BEB)/Fleet Electrification type projects or project deliverables on schedule, budget and to a high level of quality.
- Experience of working directly with client organizations and stakeholders.
- Experience of working with contracts and managing commercial activities.
- Experience of developing technical and commercial proposals.
- Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail in delivering high quality work.
- Experience of managing teams on complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Professional Engineer and or PMP status or working to achieve such.
- Excellent networking and client relationship management skills; able to influence and manage key stakeholders and build trust and advocacy with clients.
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills; able to engage staff and address difficult issue effectively and fairly.
- Excellent at resolving complex design/project execution issues through the development of innovative solutions with the engineering teams.
- Working knowledge of the regulations and standards in the transportation sector.
