**Statistical Research Assistant**
- Assess feasibility to conduct studies using the different databases.
- Provide R programming support for a broad range of epidemiologic and pharmacoepidemiologic studies using several large databases.
- Perform extensive data management to generate analytical data sets
- Conduct required statistical analyses.
- Display analysis results in tabular or graphic formats suitable for presentations or publications.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Master‘s Degree in statistics, biostatistics, or equivalent.
- Related experience in research and statistical analyses is essential.
- Advanced level in R.
- Working knowledge of SAS is an asset.
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel and Word is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and analysis and relational databases.
- Knowledge of epidemiology is considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
- Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data.
- Ability to work under pressure, and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to compile and generate a variety of reports incorporating research techniques using primary and secondary resources.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to use technology and problem-solving skills to provide information needed in decision making, with accuracy and in a timely fashion.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Project management skills - ability to manage a variety of concurrent projects with mínimal supervision; problem solving and decision-making skills.

**Assistant(e) de recherche en statistique**
- Évaluer la faisabilité de mener des études en utilisant les différentes bases de données.
- Fournir un soutien à la programmation R pour un large éventail d'études épidémiologiques et pharmacoépidémiologiques en utilisant plusieurs grandes bases de données.
- Effectuer une gestion étendue des données pour générer des ensembles de données analytiques.
- Effectuer les analyses statistiques requises.
- Afficher les résultats d'analyse dans des formats tabulaires ou graphiques adaptés aux présentations ou publications.
- Toutes les autres tâches pertinentes assignées. Qualifications:

- Une maîtrise en statistique, biostatistique ou équivalent.
- Une expérience connexe dans la recherche et les analyses statistiques est essentielle.
- Niveau avancé dans R.
- Competence avec SAS est considérée comme un atout.
- Les compétences avancées dans Microsoft Excel et Word sont considérées comme un atout.
- Connaissance des méthodes statistiques et de l'analyse et des bases de données relationnelles.
- La connaissance de l'épidémiologie est considérée comme un atout.
- Capacité à communiquer efficacement en anglais, à la fois verbalement et par écrit.
- Capacité d'extraire, de manipuler et d'analyser des données complexes.
- Aptitude à travailler sous pression et à établir des priorités, d’accomplir des tâches multiples et à gérer plusieurs projets complexes dans un environnement de travail où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide.
- Aptitude à compiler et à générer divers rapports intégrant des techniques de recherche utilisant des ressources primaires et secondaires.
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en tant que membre d'une équipe.
- Aptitude à utiliser la technologie et les compétences en résolution de problèmes pour fournir l'information nécessaire à la prise de décision, avec précision et en temps opportun.
- Capacité de maintenir un degré élevé de confidentialité.
