**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct outreach activities to engage community members and inform them about available services and programs.
- Support individuals that come to our organization looking for assistance
- Educate individuals and groups on relevant topics through presentations and public speaking engagements.
- Supervise and support volunteers or interns involved in outreach efforts.
- Recruit participants for programs and initiatives, ensuring diverse representation from the community.
- Collect data on outreach activities, program effectiveness, and community needs to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with local organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders to enhance outreach efforts.
- Manage projects related to outreach initiatives, ensuring timely execution and adherence to goals.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate outreach initiatives.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Excellent public speaking abilities to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Experience in educating community members on various topics related to health, social services, or education.
- Leadership skills with the capability to supervise teams or volunteers effectively.
- Familiarity with recruiting strategies to engage participants in outreach programs.
- Proficient in data collection methods for assessing program impact and community needs.
- A genuine commitment to serving the community and improving access to resources.
- A degree in Social Work would be considered an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
