Renovation Specialist/maintenance Labourer

Our company is expanding & we are excited to announce we are hiring for a Renovation Specialist/Maintenance Labourer to join our team.

You will a lead in your own projects across various renovations of our rental properties across Amherst & area + other projects at times.

**Note: This is not an entry level job.**

**Duties**:

- Excellent job execution in renovation projects & able to provide renovation expertise/advice
- Tasks/Jobs will include: Flooring, Drywall, Framing, some Plumbing/Electrical Install, Cabinets/Counters & more
- For some projects, carpenters/specialists create custom designs and build unique structures or pieces according to client specifications.
- Carpenters may be involved in estimating the amount of materials needed for a project and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Able to provide accurate timeline of projects from start to finish

**Qualifications**:

- Post Secondary education is considered a strong asset
- Red Seal in Carpentry is highly preferred
- 2+ years experience in renovation projects is highly preferred
- Strong Knowledge & Experience of power tools and hand tools commonly used in carpentry work & other trades
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
