This is a hybrid position for an experienced server or bartender to gain _management _experience in a high volume restaurant Time would be split between working as a server/bartender and as a duty manager.

This position is suited for a young and ambitious server who is looking to progress in their careers or learn new skills that can be helpful in a variety of careers down the road.

Duty Manager tasks include:

- Ensuring that lunch and dinner service go off without a hitch - troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the day.
- Communicating with the kitchen supervisors and expediting food to our guests.
- Managing labour costs by managing staff member's duties and cutting hours as needed.
- Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the property at all times
- Balancing the server's reeds with system sales and payments.
- Ensuring that the kitchen is clean and secure, then setting the alarm and locking up the premise.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

- Greater Sudbury, ON P3A 5K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
