- **Activity Leadership**: Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and exploring local points of interest.
- **Safe Environment**: Plan and maintain a healthy, secure, and well-being-focused environment for children.
- **Child Assessment**: Observe and assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs, discussing progress with parents and staff.
- **Behavioural Guidance**: Identify potential learning or behavioural issues and prepare reports for parents and supervisors.
- **Habit Development**: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- **Collaboration**: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
- **Activity Planning**: Organize activities for school-age children before and after school hours.
- **Supervision**: Supervise and coordinate activities of other educators and assistants.

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum Requirements**: ECE IT diploma or provincially recognized equivalent, Valid Standard First Aid, Negative criminal records check.
- **Skills**: Team player, commitment to high-quality programming for children, and a supportive work environment for staff.

**Job Details**:

- **Type**: Permanent, Full-time
- **Salary**: From $23.00 per hour + $6.00 wage enhancement
- **Hours**: 40 hours per week
