**Almon Equipment Ltd is a growing company that is headquartered in Etobicoke, Toronto. The business began with two employees and now has grown into 100 employees. We specialize in infrastructure maintenance, contracting, construction, technology R&D, manufacturing and other heavy-duty equipment operations.**

**Your main responsibilities include**:

- Schedule or dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.
- Brief operators on their tasks. Ensuring that they have all the information they need to complete the job successfully.
- Print directions to site, plans, maps, and any other documentation needed.
- Ensure all operators are dressed appropriately in the correct PPE before they start their shift.
- Update the daily report continuously throughout your shift.
- Receive or prepare work orders. Give out work orders, messages or information to or from work crews, supervisors or field inspectors, using telephones or two-way radio.
- Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials or personnel required, according to work orders or specifications.
- Speak with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment.
- Update the customer or Project Manager if any job is running late or if any job cannot be finished as planned for any reason.
- Ensure vehicles are licensed and legal to operate before you book them.
- Check all paperwork that is returned to dispatch. Ensure it has been completed fully with all the necessary information. Follow up with operators if the paperwork has not been completed fully.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Previous dispatch and/or customer service experience required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and great attention to detail.
- Good computer knowledge, experience using google drive is an asset.
- Ability to and willingness to work both long and flexible hours.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- dispatch coordinator: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G or G2 Licence (preferred)
