Care Manager

We are looking for Care Manager to join our Direct Nursing Services team in Vancouver, B.C.
This position assumes a role in planning, directing, and developing clinical standards to promote quality care. The responsibilities include meeting and adhering to professional standards, complying with organizational and corporate policies and procedures, supporting corporate and organizational missions, goals, and values, promoting teamwork among associates and fostering positive tenant outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills are a must as well as the ability to work well with others and be sensitive to their problems, concerns and goals.
Emergency ‘On Call’ will be shared with management team.
**It is a full-time job opportunity salary from**$68,000 for care aide and from 80,00 for LPN.**
**Job Requirements**
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner.
- Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal English).
- Resourceful and well organized.
- Requires ability to work with a minimum of supervision and excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation skills.
- Participative management style-advocate of team concept.
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
- Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment and the ability to balance other business considerations. Service oriented, but assertive/persuasive when appropriate.
**EDUCATION**
- Must hold a current LPN license in good standing with the BCCNM or an experienced HCA who has previous care manager experience
- 3-5 years gerontological nursing experience preferred.

Casa Mia expanded and updated heritage home will offer 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River and towering trees.
Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island.
This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a modern care environment with a throw back to Vancouver’s heritage.
Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. We offer 58 subsidized care beds and 32 private pay.
