The Role
The Operations - Technology Solutions Department within Dynamic Risk is comprised of several Engineering and Technology focused Divisions that have ultimate accountability for execution of Consulting and Technology implementation projects.
Reporting to Director, Technology Solutions, the Manager, Technology Consulting oversees day-to-day management of a team of Engineering and data professionals. A hands-on professional, the Manager, Technology Consulting is knowledgeable in Dynamic Risk’s business offerings including both consulting and technology solutions. They are responsible for the productivity of the Technology Consulting team.
The Manager, Technology Consulting demonstrates technical proficiency in integrity management and our software solutions. They are an inclusive and collaborative leader with demonstrated experience in leading, motivating and inspiring a team of professionals and is equally comfortable being hands-on with project execution.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership
- Organizes incoming workload and support the team to prioritize effort to complete work tasks on time; ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards we can achieve;
- Develops and maintains an encouraging working environment by creating an atmosphere conducive to positive morale, integrity, creativity, and a team-orientated workplace, leading by example;
- Promotes a safety leadership culture and strives to ensure that all project leaders uphold the principles of a positive safety culture;
- Conducts targeted recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring and other employee development activities;
- Identifies the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by our staff to successfully meet our client’s expectations;
- Work with the Resource Manager to assign projects and tasks to Team Members to ensure level loading and productivity targets are met;
- Actively participate with the implementation of company policies;
- Responsible for meeting team objectives / KPIs;
- Responsible for setting annual performance goals.

Technology Consulting
- Responsible for identifying paths toward automation for repeatable consulting projects;
- Responsible for strategic introduction of technology on consulting projects;
- Innovate and create new domain expertise using existing technology solutions;
- Builds technology related business cases for Product Development consideration;
- Provide technical leadership and project management support on various projects;
- Collect voice of the customer during client interactions.

Internal Support
- Manage internal and external software demonstration requests;
- Accurately gather requirements of the engagement, establishing the scope of work, estimating effort and value and the drafting of client proposals;
- Provide input regarding the development and implementation of policies, standards and procedures for the Operations department;
- Actively participate in creating company awareness and identifying client opportunities;
- As required, provide guidance to manage client issues and expectations;
- Represent Dynamic Risk on key industry committees;
- Assist with the creation of new marketing material for software and technology solutions;
- Support sales and business development initiatives.

Job Pre-requisites
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a technical role in the pipeline industry;
- A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Software Programming, or similar field, is required;
- Advance understanding of using software solutions to solve pipeline integrity and risk problems;
- Knowledge in pipeline integrity management, reliability analysis, and risk assessments;
