Role and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Shop App sales KPIs (Sales target execution, forecasting, P & L, Inventory)
- Define Samsung App Strategy to support the company vision including business objectives, engagement targets and overall KPIs (App downloads, MAU, App Store ratings, Sales etc)
- Develop & drive sales targets by line of business including the various portfolio targets in mobile, electronics, appliances and accessories as a market share leader in the categories
- Develop content strategy, execution and to promote app exclusive opportunities, elevate the experience of our launch product strategy and boost the appeal to our target customer segments
- Align business strategy with Go to market planning cycles, events and seasonality within Samsung ecosystem locally in Canada and Globally for the Brand initiatives
- Lead the short, medium and long-term App roadmap, sprint and deployment planning
- Monitor and manage NPS, App store feedback to build a continuous improvement product management cycle
- Iterate on newly released mobile apps Customer Experience Journey (e.g. Ease of onboarding, login and checkout, sales, support, engagement, omni features)
- Collaborate with DtC marketing team to create a integrated approach for app and push
- Work with marketing counterparts on customer acquisition, retention, and customer loyalty
- Align with the loyalty strategy and integrate the experience through the App
- Provide market sensing, competitive positioning and innovation to continue to expand reach and engagement with Samsung customers, fans and develop new customer development opportunities
- Manage operations of apps including coordinate product changes, sales and events with cross functional teams of Marketing, Product, Analytic and Finance specialists
- Conduct analysis to provide actionable insights that help drive product, marketing and other business decisions
- Understand mobile technology and App ecosystem
Skills and Qualifications
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of applicable concepts and methodologies, including A/B testing, events, user funnels, segmentation and data mining
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-starter; able to work autonomously and on multiple projects
- Strong knowledge of mobile product management principles, mobile first design principles
- Experience leading cross-functional mobile app teams, ideally at a scale where the app has many contributing teams
- Customer-focused, proactive, and results-oriented
- Demonstrated conceptual problem solver that articulates opportunities and solutions
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence project team members and business stakeholders on key project issues
- Ability to break down and define complex problems, while managing complex cross-functional stakeholder relationships
- Exceptional knowledge of e-commerce, mobile, social, and multi-channel retailing trends
**Experience**:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the mobile APP industry
- Experience with analytics platforms
- Experience with native mobile app development and APIs
- Experience in building products at scale within retail or e-commerce environments
