L’agent de liaison, Sciences médicales participe à des discussions scientifiques objectives et non biaisées avec les professionnels de la santé dans le but de promouvoir les découvertes scientifiques et la prise de décisions éclairées sur le traitement.
**Responsabilités**
- Examiner les données émergentes avec les professionnels de la santé en discutant des risques et des avantages de manière impartiale, objective et d’un point de vue scientifique.
- Travailler de concert avec les professionnels de la santé qui agissent à titre de consultants scientifiques et participent à des activités scientifiques conformes aux projets de la compagnie, notamment les conseils consultatifs, les programmes de conférenciers et les essais cliniques.
- Identifier les professionnels de la santé qui allient l’excellence scientifique à l’expertise en vue d’une collaboration à la recherche fondamentale et à la recherche préclinique et clinique dans le cadre d’une planification stratégique.
- Permettre à la compagnie de mieux comprendre les professionnels de la santé de la région, leurs pratiques, leurs principaux enjeux et les tendances en matière de traitement des maladies.
- À titre d’expert sur les questions touchant le personnel en région (en territoire), participer à la gestion du cycle de vie des produits dans différents domaines thérapeutiques.
- Dans le cadre d’un échange scientifique, identifier les possibilités de recherche en collaboration avec les professionnels de la santé et, s’il y a lieu, informer le conseiller médical de ces possibilités dans le cadre du processus relatif aux études parrainées par un investigateur.
- Procurer un soutien à valeur ajoutée aux principaux centres effectuant des essais cliniques en apportant une expertise scientifique pertinente relative à la molécule à l’étude lorsqu’un centre entreprend un essai ou peu après.
**Qualitées requises**
- La personne retenue pour ce rôle doit posséder des aptitudes pour la synthèse et la transmission de l’information scientifique dans un langage comparable à celui des médecins. Elle doit pouvoir entrer en relation avec les professionnels de la santé à un niveau de communication supérieur et favoriser ainsi l’échange d’information scientifique.
- Minimum de 2 années d’expérience dans l’industrie pharmaceutique, idéalement dans un poste où la personne a été en contact avec des médecins.
- Excellente capacité d’apprendre des concepts scientifiques et d’élargir ses connaissances scientifiques.
- Facilité démontrée à communiquer (tant verbalement que par écrit) et aptitudes pour la présentation.
- Aptitudes marquées pour les relations interpersonnelles, le leadership et le travail d’équipe.
- Sens développé de l’organisation et capacité démontrée de travailler de façon autonome.
- Expertise dans les soins de santé, surtout en ce qui concerne les leaders d’opinion, le milieu universitaire et la communauté médicale en général.
- Déplacements requis (locaux, régionaux, nationaux et global).
- Expérience souhaitable dans le domaine de l’Oncologie (idéalement cancer GastroIntestinal); toutefois, le titulaire pourrait parfois changer de domaine thérapeutique pour s’adapter aux besoins de l’entreprise.
