**Position Summary**

The Supervisor, Hawk Shop Brantford & HUB is committed to providing superior customer service and is accountable for delivering quality products and services to the Brantford campus and surrounding community. In addition, they will be responsible for managing the multicampus e-commerce website for the Hawk Shop, maintaining content, driving customer traffic, and increasing online sales.

The individual will be a self-motivated, proactive individual with strong self-management and interpersonal skills. Reporting to the Manager, Distribution, Mail & Brantford Retail Services, the incumbent supervises the day-to-day operation of the Hawk Shop & HUB locations with yearly sales of approximately 1.5 million dollars.

The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the sales floor, order fulfilment process, customer service interactions and merchandise storage locations. This individual supervises the casual and student employees, overseeing the hiring, shift scheduling, customer service and training. They will implement policies and procedures, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of POS transactions, cash control procedures are followed and addresses and resolves issues as they arise.

The Supervisor will work closely with the Leadership team and other Hawk Shop team members to determine the layout of the store and will advise staff in the replenishment and presentation of merchandise.

This position will act as a backup support capacity to the Manager, Brantford Retail Services and may represent them in committees.

**Accountabilities**

**e-Commerce**
- Responsible for managing multi-campus Hawk Shop E-Commerce webstore
- Responsible for all online activity related to maintaining product inventory, images, categories
- Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads, landing pages, banner ads and info blocks
- Supports store leadership team in the development of short-term and long-term e-commerce roadmap, optimizing shopping experience, best practices, and prioritizing product selection
- Collaborating with Marketing Specialist Identifies target consumer segments to increase online sales
- Assists Marketing Specialist in reviewing SEO (search engine optimization) plan to improve search engine rankings and increase online traffic

**Store Operations**
- Accountable for providing supervision, support and direction for the day-to-day operational functions of the Hawk Shop Brantford & HUB, developing a team-oriented environment where team input is encouraged
- Responsible for the supervision, hiring, training, coaching and development processes for casual staff including the coordination of scheduling, interviews, confirming hires, adherence to orientation and ongoing training, and performance feedback.
- Responsible for sales floor and works with team to meet sales targets
- In collaboration with the Supervisor, Hawk Shop Operations Waterloo, provides ongoing training to staff year-round and develops staff training manuals and programs that are consistent across locations
