The Clinical Assistance works under the direction of the MDRD manager and the Clinical Liaison to complete the identified key responsibilities, facilitating meaningful and effective communication between the departments and facilitates and delivers training programs for their staff. The position is accountable for the MDRD Information System which ensures the accuracy of information related to pick sheets, instrument inventory and repairs as well as for the development, implementation and evaluation of programs

**Required Qualifications**:
Surgical Processing Certificate and at least 3 years Clinical Assistant experience. Completed training/courses (i.e. Medical Reprocessing Technician Certification, Infection Control, and Institutional Management, WHMIS)

Demonstrated computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Sterile Processing Microsystem, with the ability to adapt to technological change. A strong understanding of quality control/assurance and ability to consistently deliver a high-quality customer service. Demonstrates ability to communicate and read using English to effectively perform the requirements of the position.
