**Primary Care Summer Assistant
**One Position**

Term July 8, 2024 to August 30, 2024

**Summary of Job Description**

The Assistant will support a variety of program initiatives held by the Primary Care Clinic and Walk-In
Connected Care Clinic at NorWest Co-Op Community Health. This position will support front
reception, front entrance screening and system navigation within all programs at NorWest and
deliver safe, efficient and quality care at various NorWest sites.

**Qualifications
- High school diploma would be preferred.- Currently or plans to be enrolled in a post-secondary education program preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Empathetic, non-judgmental approach.
- Knowledge and experience with diverse cultures and economic backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required

**Length of Contract, Hours and Wage**

8 weeks of employment, 35 hours/week, Salary $17.00 per hour
