**Position Summary**

Within our finance lending programs, the Loans Administrator supports client goals and financial objectives by providing a thorough and supportive loans administrative process.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintains positive relationships with clients, ensuring transactions and information received on behalf of Ulnooweg and/or its employees are kept confidential.
- Prepares and maintains loan documentation and filing.
- Processes daily loan transactions in the loans management system.
- Reviews executed documentation for completeness.
- Registers and releases security within the applicable registry.
- Maintains credit reporting systems.
- Provides assistance and support to the Access to Capital Team.
- Oversees credit files for disbursement.
- Adhere to quality assurance objectives, goals, policies and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains reports and claims for various funding agencies.
- Prepares financial analysis of annual budgets.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma, or any combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position or in the financial Industry.
- Recent and significant experience in a relevant area can also be considered.
- Knowledge of credit processes, procedures and business operation fundamentals.
- Understanding of lending procedures such as disbursements, payments, interest calculation and amortization schedules.
- Strong organizational and time management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial software.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft word and Excel software packages.
- An understanding of the Treaty relations between Canada and Indigenous communities is desired.
