Reporting to Manager, Accounting within Financial Services, this role provides dedicated financial support to a specialized functional area within Finance by providing financial problem solving, analyses and reports on a variety of hospital financial management issues

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- **Liaise and provide financial knowledge and analytical support/information to others both inside and outside the organization. With a focus on maximizing patient and non-patient revenues and recoveries**:

- **Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis and reporting of the full** customer sub-ledger and related account reconciliations. Focusing on any indicator variances requiring; problem solving and potential engagement of others both inside and outside the organization. Identifying collections at risk, account concerns, and required follow-ups by the clerical team.**:

- **Reporting and analysis for stakeholders in “Other” programs, including but not limited to; budget build/forecast review; quarterly Ministry reporting and year-end audited financial statements**:

- **Strong computing skills for analysis review and oversight of month end billing concerns, referencing various organization policies and/or departmental procedures of practice.**:

- **Collaborate with other stakeholders in Purchase Service Agreements facilitating development and maintenance of approved PSA within the various SAP structures.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- CPA (CA, CGA, CMA), CFA preferred
- OHRS certificates preferred
- 2 years of related experience
- 3- 5 In a Healthcare or related not for profit preferred
- Advanced excel training,
- ERP experience (i.e. SAP)
- Proven ability to attend work regularly
- Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
