In this role, an individual is responsible to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statistical and care cost reporting that is both Ministry required and used for internal decision making. This role also prepares, maintains and optimizes annual planning and budget templates ensuring that planning assumptions are accurately captures and recorded. Further this position supports financial analysts and leadership by integrating statistical and financial information into dashboards, analysis and reports.

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Compile, analyze, report and present statistical and related financial data for internal and external decision makers.
- Prepare budget and planning templates.
- Process improvement and Ad Hoc analysis.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University Business/Accounting degree or 3 year Community College Diploma in Business/Accounting
- 2-3 years’ experience in an analysis role, including 1 year hospital experience.
- Experience working with large and varied databases.
- Experience in case costing in an Ontario Hospital preferred.
- Strong analytic skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload
- Tactful, innovative, takes initiative, able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong teamwork skills
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products, with intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
- Knowledge of MIS/OHRS reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to attend work regularly.
- Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
